What NABH accreditation means

NABH is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India. It sets standards for hospitals and assesses them through on-site audits by trained assessors. To be accredited, a hospital must show that it follows defined processes in areas such as:

  • patient rights, consent and education
  • assessment and continuity of care
  • medication management and safe use of blood
  • infection prevention and control
  • patient safety and continuous quality improvement
  • facility safety, staff training and medical records

Accreditation is reassessed at regular intervals, and it applies to the services named in the hospital’s scope of accreditation.

You can check this accreditation independently on NABH’s list of accredited hospitals (certificate H-2022-0894), or write to NABH at [email protected].
